PETER WRIGHT beat Luke Littler to win the German Darts Championship after winning SIX LEGS in a row against the teen sensation.

Littler was 5-2 ahead and looked on course for yet another title before Wright's unbelievable comeback.

It was a first title in 2024 for Snakebite who had earlier burst into TEARS during a live interview after beating Michael van Gerwen.

    PETER WRIGHT broke down in tears live on TV after he dumped Michael van Gerwen out of the German Darts Championship.

    Wright, 54 has endured a difficult time in front of the oche recently.

    During his post-match interview, fans began chanting his name.

    Wright was taken aback by the singing, before the host said: "It kind of feels like Snakebite is on his way back?"

    Choking back tears, an emotional Wright said: "I'm on the way back."

    ABIGAIL DAVIES announced her engagement during the German Championships.

    Sky Sports reporter Davies, 32, is known for her coverage of darts andfootball.

    And as she was preparing to cover another Euro tour, the journalist received a the happiest of surprises.

    The TV star's partner proposed and she said yes while seemingly enjoyed a cold pint.

    And she quipped that she initially thought the ring was fordartsstar Steve Beaton.

    Daviestweeted: "I think he bought this ring to propose to Steve Beaton but I'll take it…

    "Of course it happened at a Euro Tour."

    He wouldn’t go away. I threw my best, he threw his best. It maybe would have changed on the 150 if no one whistled. But that’s what they do.

    LUKE LITTLER was furious with the crowd and burst into tears after Peter Wright came back to shock him in the German Championship final.

    The teen sensation reacted to the fans after a whistle put him off a vital checkout in Hildesheim on Sunday.

    Littler, 17, was going for a 150 finish and missed double 15 and immediately turned and shouted angrily at the crowd.
